Milly and Yunus is a different kind of story. It just happened by chance.

We went to Turkey on a private assignment but decided to stay back for a few more days in Cappadocia. We had already met Yunus because we had stayed at his Airbnb. We nonchalantly told him we would like to satiate our creative freedom by shooting one more couple. He literally jumped out of his chair and somehow convinced us that he was the right guy for our shoot. The very next moment, he was on his phone, swiping on Tinder to see if he could get someone who could join him on his shoot. After a couple of swipes, he found Milly. The moment he saw her, he wanted to invite her. So naturally, he swiped right. Hours went by and he didn’t get an answer. We went to explore Turkey, and guess what, we arrived, and he excitedly told us that Milly was ready. We were perplexed. Like… WTF…How?? Because we knew they did not match on Tinder. He then told us that he found her profile on Instagram and messaged her about his idea for the shoot. Milly was visiting Turkey from Israel, and she was fond of adventures. So we got the couple on board and set out on our trail early in the morning. This is the time when hundreds of balloons light up in the dusky sky and the view is almost breathtaking. It was one of the most beautiful mornings that we ever shot with a couple. It was more exciting because the chemistry was very evident. Guys, they met just a couple of hours ago. See if you can figure out that we shot strangers? Strangers…maybe not now. Looking back, Milly says that life is all about saying Yes to situations where you do not know where the journey will take you. This is what excites us every day. The feeling that we do not know what’s going to come, the feeling that maybe we aren’t prepared for what’s going to happen. But aren’t these impromptu life decisions some of the best in our lives? Anyways, this is how Yunus found Milly, and we got to shoot our muse! Don’t forget to check out Bulut the dog, who was a constant companion in brewing chemistry between our newly found couple in the streets of Cappadocia.
